This week I took a step back in time at one of Northwest Arkansas’s most iconic restaurants: Monte Ne Inn in Rogers. For over 50 years, they’ve been serving up family-style fried chicken dinners with all the fixings — homemade bread, creamy mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, sweet corn, and that famous apple butter that keeps people coming back generation after generation.

My family and I have been coming here for 53 years, and it still feels just as special. I filmed a short video for you (linked below), and trust me — it’s worth calling ahead for reservations.
